Insurance and Payment Information
At Breeze Speech and Language Therapy, we accept a range of health insurance plans for speech-language evaluations and therapy services. We are currently in-network providers for the following plans:
- Blue Cross Blue Shield MA
- Harvard Pilgrim
- Mass Brigham Health Plan (formerly AllWays Health Partners)
- MassHealth
- Medicare
- WellSense (Coming Soon)
If your insurance provider is not listed, you may still be eligible for out-of-network benefits or reimbursement for our services. We encourage you to contact the Member Services number on your insurance card to confirm your specific coverage details.
Private Payment Options
We also offer private pay options for those who prefer not to use insurance. Payments can be made via check, credit card, or cash.
Before Your Appointment
Before your first speech-language therapy session at Breeze, please contact your insurance company by calling the Member Services number on your insurance card. This will help you understand your eligibility, coverage, and any costs such as deductibles, co-insurance, or co-payments. If you have an HMO plan, you are responsible for obtaining a referral from your primary care physician prior to receiving services. Referrals can be faxed to: 774-762-1846.
Important Insurance Information
- Network participation does not guarantee coverage of services.
- Some plans only cover services deemed “medically necessary” by the insurance company. Be sure to ask your provider about their guidelines for speech-language therapy coverage.
- Clients are responsible for any service fees if insurance claims are denied.
Insurance Denials & Appeals
If your insurance company denies coverage for services, you have the right to appeal the decision. The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) provides helpful medical review guidelines that you can use during the appeals process.
Additional Notes
- Please notify us immediately if your health insurance plan changes. Certain plans may require prior authorization before services can begin.
- We are here to support you and will do our best to help you understand your options for coverage and payment. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
